Frequently asked questions
Answers to the things people ask us most. Something missing? We'd love to hear from you.
How many friends can I have in my village?
Your Truffle Village holds up to 5 buddies for now. Keeping it a small, close circle means the people you build habits with are the ones who matter most to you. Every friend you connect with gets their own cosy little house in your village.
Is TrufflePops free?
Yes. TrufflePops is completely free to start, with full access to every feature, no ads, and no paywalls. Get in early and enjoy all of it.
What devices can I use TrufflePops on?
TrufflePops is available on both iPhone and Android. When you sign in, your goals, streaks, and buddies stay in sync across your devices.
How do I pair up with a friend?
Open Add a friend to get your personal invite code and link. Share it with someone, or scan their code, and once they accept you'll both appear in each other's village, ready to set shared goals together.
Can more than two people share a goal?
A shared goal is for two people, you and one buddy, which keeps it personal and encouraging. You can have as many two-person shared goals as you like, with different friends for different goals.
If my buddy turns a shared goal into a personal goal, does mine become personal too?
Yes, and you keep everything. When your buddy switches a shared goal to a personal one, TrufflePops quietly gives you your own personal copy of it, carrying your streak and history so nothing is lost. You'll see a note that your buddy left the goal, and you're free to keep going on your own or pair up on it again later.
What happens to my streak if I miss a day?
No guilt here. A streak simply counts the days you show up in a row, so a missed day may end that particular run, but nothing else is lost and there's zero shame in starting a fresh one. Your buddy greets you just as warmly when you come back.
Is my data private?
Yes. TrufflePops shows no ads and doesn't track you across other apps. Usage analytics are optional and can be switched off anytime in Profile, then Privacy. You can also delete your account and all of your data whenever you want.
